THE IMPORTANCE OF OCCUPATIONAL RISK PREVENTION

Occupational Risk Prevention is crucial in all work activities. Therefore, before starting a job, it is very important to maintain safety schemes, always being clear about the most frequent risk prevention procedures and measures.

Regarding the duty of all companies to comply with Occupational Risk Prevention, regulated in Law 31/1995, of November 8, 1995, special attention must be paid to the way it is implemented, as any non-compliance can result in significant penalties.

In general, when we talk about ORP, our thoughts tend to focus mainly on physical risks, but we should not only pay attention to the prevention of this type of risk, but also to psychosocial risks of occupational origin, so that the mental health of workers is cared for and protected, as this can have a very negative effect on both them and the company.That is why, after having carried out a series of risk assessments in MEP-Projects and analyzing the results, we can say that we have obtained a series of data that allows us to identify the situation of our workers for which we have subsequently applied a series of preventive measures that have allowed a reduction of risks, allowing us to have benefits, such as improved performance.

The World Day for Safety and Health at Work is celebrated on April 28th. In MEP-Projects we are committed and we emphasize the importance of safety and protection in the workplace of all people who are part of our company; and so we reflect it in their attitude, performance and comfort both in our offices and in those who are teleworking or working directly on site.
